Humans are naturally pulled to water for its healing and transformational properties. Many believe that the water element is crucial to balance the body and to find physical harmony.
On our days off, especially during the summer, we go to bodies of water to find clarity and to calm the mind. Even when we are not near a beach or a lake, we take long showers or warm baths to relax and utilize its healing properties.
Our yoga practice offers a similar refuge, but when we add the layer of practicing yoga on a calm body of water on a beautiful day we take our practice to a whole new level.
SUP Yoga (or Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga) classes reveal the healing power of being on the water, listening to the sound of it flowing beneath us with views of the sky above us and nature around us.
When practicing yoga on a paddleboard, we are asked to slow down, listen, mindfully transition and then to hold poses while utilizing our breath to keep us focused. SUP Yoga can bring a whole new perspective to our practice, mind, body & spirit.
Yoga and Fitness Core classes are taught on the water on floating boards. Our paddle can help us find our midpoint & hold our center. Our mat is the Stand Up Paddleboard and the world is our studio. All of the elements have been invited: Sun, Wind, Water and Earth. We learn while adapting to the motion of the board. We cultivate awareness with the increased challenge to our balance through the instability created by minor energy and weight shifts that require us to ground and build our core stability while afloat.
Change is the only constant in life. On the water we learn to flow, stay present to what is and to live freely within each moment.
Pick your location. An inland lake, a river or a bay. Bring your own drinks/snacks or we can provide options for you to choose from. Bring up to 8 people and we have all the equipment. We choose a predetermined place to paddle to and from. It can also be round trip. You can make it more relaxing, adding a stop for some Yoga and an easy paddle or it can be a more challenging paddle to get your blood pumping, burning off the calories from your festivities the night before.

We have some favorite spots to offer, where you can decide where you want to stop or paddle to. Local Wineries, restaurants, Breweries, parks. We have a trailer that will be waiting for you at your destination or we can make it round trip for an extra challenge. There is always an option to add a SUP Yoga session before. The possibilities are so many.
Indoor or Outside. Customize and choose type of class, length and number of people. I create classes for every body and I give many options for more challenging and more restful variations of postures and sequences in more mixed level group classes. I can come to your or I have a number of outdoor places I can recommend.
I can come to you and I also have an office space. This session is catered to exactly whatever you may need. Building strength, awareness, functional mobility, flexibility to learning the basics. I will consult with you over the phone and then in person to personalize each experience.

I provide a safe, nurturing space that encourages each student to set down any judgments and perceived limitations, so that they can find courage in their vulnerability & trust in their unique capabilities while I guide them to experience this sacred practice with a whole new level of confidence, compassion, playfulness and freedom through traditional & SUP yoga and fitness.
